| Content: | When it was originally released in 1994, anime Detective Conan (known as Case Closed state-side) involved a high-school detective genius. He's been turned into a seven year old child, robbing him of ten years. It's now 2010, with boy-prodigy "Conan Edigawa" - who would presently be 23 years old - is still seeking for a way to get his old (and now younger) body back. Instead, Japan is looking at the 14th movie in the Detective Conan franchise, titled "The Lost Ship in the Sky." A half-minute and minute-and-a-half trailers can be found on the official site. I'm not too sure what else to say on the subject. Like any long-running show or anime, resolution is practically non-existent, so the watcher needs to be in it for the journey. Regardless of how time-warped the characters should be (but aren't), it's still a good series with enough drive behind it to keep making money. Regardless of my jaded look, I'm excited, so perhaps you will be as well. |
